2. Scope
This policy covers both this website and the CueSport mobile app for iOS and Android. It is the privacy policy referenced in our Apple App Store and Google Play listings.
3. Data we process in the app, purposes and legal bases

4. Member data entered by club administrators
Club administrators may enter personal data of their club members (e.g. name, email) to manage the club. For this data the club is the data controller and we act as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Clubs can contact us at hello@cuesport.app with any questions about this processing.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of established service providers to operate the app, under data processing agreements where required:
- Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd.): hosting, authentication, database, push notifications, crash reporting and analytics. Some Firebase services process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Firebase privacy
- Apple / Google: app distribution and in-app billing, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
6. Data processed on this website
- Contact form: name, email, club name, role, club size and your message, used solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)).
- Cookies: this website sets no cookies and uses no tracking that requires consent.
- Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics (hosted in the EU) for aggregate visitor statistics. It is cookieless, sets no identifiers, and stores no personal data, so no consent is required (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses in standard server logs for security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f)).
7. Retention
Account data is stored until you delete your account. Match results and reservations that also concern other members are anonymized rather than deleted when you leave, so club records stay consistent. Push notification tokens are deleted on logout. Crash reports are retained for the provider's standard period (30–90 days). Contact form enquiries are deleted once handled, at the latest after six months.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Berlin this is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
9. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your CueSport account and associated personal data at any time via our account deletion page.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when the app's data processing changes and indicate the date of the latest revision above.
